Hi, I'm Angela Hamwey

For as long as I can remember, I've loved design and the process of curating an inviting space. In 2013, I turned that passion into a livelihood with the launch of Mackenzie & Co. My style and process is largely informed by my experience, both career and personal. My years spent in HR + business taught me how to manage details and build a team. The hospitality industry gave me unique insight into creating spaces that are cohesive and, above all, comfortable. Raising three boys was a master class in designing a home that can meet the needs of a busy family. Those years of informal experience, coupled with my training at the Rhode Island School of Design, laid the foundation for what is now an award-winning design studio.

Our team designs residential and commercial buildings all over the country that reflect our clients' unique styles, budgets, and needs. We believe that a refined home is comprised of well-executed details, so we approach each project with both a logistical and creative mindset. The Mackenzie & Co. team is available for full service design, build collaborations, and kitchen and bath remodels in the New England area and beyond.
